Telford & Wrekin 4-2 Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury scored a couple of goals on the break in the first half through Matt Sillence and Chris Burden to put Telford & Wrekin on the back foot for a while with their goal coming from Dave Tracey. Telford leveled things up in the second half but it was only in the last five minutes that they took the lead and confirmed their win with their fourth on the final whistle. Their 2nd half goals came from Dave Tracey, Peter Evans and Jon Heath.

Ludlow 1-0 Bridgnorth

Ludlow joined the senior competition this year by dint of their win in the Shield event last year but were expected to find life a little tough. However, in a game of few clear chances it was Ludlow, through Matthew Hall, who managed to get the ball into the net just five minutes from time. They held out to complete a surprise but not undeserved victory and a tilt at Telford and Wrekin in the final.

  3/4 playoff - Bridgnorth 4-3 Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury took the lead mid way through the first half and went on to add two more to be 3-0 up at half time. In the second half Shrewsbury sort of went to pieces and Bridgnorth came back with their winner coming just a couple of minutes from time. The Bridgnorth goals came from a Tom Picklesgill hat-trick and Matt Ealey. The Shrewsbury scorers were a brace from Matt Sillence and one from Chris Davis

 Final - Telford & Wrekin 10-0 Ludlow

If Telford & Wrekin were caught on the back foot in their semi-final then there was not going to be a repeat in the final. From the off they completely controlled the game and exerted their superiority with six unanswered goals in the first half. They added a further four in the second half to win a game that was really too one sided to be exciting.

Their goals came from Dave Tracey with four, two from Alex Johnson and Peter Evans and one each from Jon Heath and James Joule.
