This season's competition was staged at the two of the newest pitches in Telford, Madeley Court and Oakengates. The two semi-finals were played simultaneously, as were the subsequent final and 3rd/4th playoff.

bulletIn the Madeley-based semi-final, Whitchurch surprised Shrewsbury with an early breakaway goal through Ross Gill. But Shrewsbury came back with four goals, two from Matt Sillence, and one each from Mark Siddorn and Jon Davis to go in at half time a comfortable 4-1 up. But in the second half Whitchurch again scored first through Jamie Hunt to keep Shrewsbury on their toes but they eventually ran out 6-2 winners with further goals for Mark Siddorn and Matt Sillence.
bulletOver at Oakengates, Telford, without their influential South Africans and losing key playmaker and captain Simon Such to injury after just 5 minutes, were always up against it.  At half time Bridgnorth were 2-1 up through Dave Tuckett-Good and Paul Merrick, with Alex Johnson getting the Telford goal against his old club mates. In the second half Bridgnorth consolidated their lead through Peter Evans and ran out 3-1 winners.
bulletThe 3rd/4th playoff went to Telford by the considerable margin of 8-1 as players were dropping like flies with cramp. The final turned out to be almost as one sided as Shrewsbury, with only a 12 man squad, tired more so than Bridgnorth and by half time the game was virtually over with Bridgnorth 4-0 up. Their scorers were Dave Tuckett-Good, Peter Evans with 2 and Dave Westhead. In the second half the game was more evenly contested but Bridgnorth sealed the result with their 5th goal from Dan Wright. Shrewsbury refused to let go of the trophy that easily and scored a couple of late consolations through Matt Sillence and, after a goal mouth scramble at an over-time short corner, captain Steve Rivett to make the final score 5-2.
