This season the league will be based on the first 2/3rds of the season, with the last 1/3rd being friendlies.

9 Oct 09 - Market Drayton have resigned from the league, unable to get enough youngsters to field a team and they have also confirmed that it is unlikely that they will be able to play any games, even with loan of players.

Rules

	Teams consist of eleven players plus subs and may include a maximum of two players of 15 or over, on 1st January 2010. Note the date. Players born 1995 or later are U15 and OK.
	The two overage players cannot be involved in any play in either circle. This means they can't play the ball when it is in the circle nor step into the circle. Nor can they take part in attacking penalty corners so should stand well out of the way over the 25yd line.
	If teams are mismatched we would encourage the stronger team to use their adults sparingly; adults should be used to spread the game and not to dominate play.
	Teams are required to bring their own umpires and it should be an ideal opportunity to develop new and/or young umpires. All games are to be the full 35 minutes each way.
	Please ensure that your teams are all dressed in the same matching kit. It is important to give a professional appearance and be a good advert for Shropshire youth hockey.
