U15 Badgers 2005-6

w Teams consist of eleven players plus subs and may include a maximum of two players of 15 or over, on 1st January 2009 . Note the date. Players born 1994 or later are U15 and OK.

w The two overage players cannot be involved in any play in either circle. This means they can’t play the ball when it is in the circle nor step into the circle. Nor can they take part in attacking penalty corners so should stand well out of the way over the 25yd line.

w If teams are mismatched we would encourage the stronger team to use their adults sparingly; adults should be used to spread the game and not to dominate play.

w Teams are required to bring their own umpires and it should be an ideal opportunity to develop new and/or young umpires. All games are to be the full 35 minutes each way.

w Please ensure that your teams are all dressed in the same matching kit. It is important to give a professional appearance and be a good advert for Shropshire youth hockey.

w All central venue pitches at Oakengates have been block booked. Please liaise with Dave Siddorn should you need to cancel an Oakengates game or find a spare slot. Other pitch bookings are the responsibility of first named team

w Teas will hopefully be provided by the first named team. For games at Oakengates, the first named team should book teas with Isobel Tranter at St Georges on 01952 612911, after 6:30pm , not Tues, and no later than Thurs. The cost of approx £20 to be shared between the two teams and paid on the day. It is hoped that teams will take advantage of this and not disappear off home straight after the game.
